Upper Valley JVS Business Academy Students Job Shadow

Senior Business Academy students at Upper Valley JVS participated in a job
shadowing experience on Wednesday, November 11. This is the second opportunity these students have had to experience the workplace first hand since attending the JVS. These businesses "hosted" these students for a full-day experience. Students were expected to arrive to "work" on time, dress according to the policies of that particular company, and complete an observation form. Employers also evaluated the students.

"The purpose behind this experience," shares Deb Holthaus, Instructional Supervisor, "is to give our students a chance to learn more about the variety of career opportunities available in our local business communities."The students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity and wish to thank the following businesses for their participation in the job shadowing experience.
